How It Works

1. Prime the pad

Apply a small amount of clean oil to the prep pad. The pad absorbs and distributes oil evenly across the surface.

2. Press the oil filter O-ring

Place the oil filter O-ring side down on the pad. Press gently. Proper O-ring lubrication may help reduce double-gasket risk when paired with correct filter removal and inspection.

3. Inspect and install

Lift the filter, inspect the O-ring for even coverage, and install. Helps support cleaner, more controlled installation when used properly.
